This holiday season, the Checkered Flag Foundation is joining forces with Suiting Warriors and Ike Behar to host a special SuitUp^ presentation. The program will outfit veterans in tailored suits that will prepare them to be dressed for success as they begin their search for employment following their service. NASCAR driver and Checkered Flag Foundation Founder Brad Keselowski will present the Ike Behar suits to service members at a private, intimate event on Saturday, December 19, where he will learn more about their upcoming career goals. Part of the Checkered Flag Foundation’s mission to honor and assist those who sacrifice greatly for our country includes supporting veterans during their journey back to civilian life. This year they have supported those efforts by donating a certified service canine for a deserving veteran, contributing to the opening of a new Fisher House in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and supporting National Military Family Foundation’s Operation Purple Healing Adventure Camps.
Each partner involved in the SuitUp^ by Ike Behar presentation is dedicated to supporting service men and service women, and the collaboration will allow each of them to help veterans in an innovative way. The Ike Behar brand has been synonymous with high-quality, tailored men’s clothing since 1957, and its origins are rooted in military service. Founder Ike Behar served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and his first business was providing alterations to fellow soldiers which evolved into the Ike Behar brand of today.
